In Q2 2022, the top five music and podcasts applications in Switzerland demonstrated diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users on a unified platform, according to Sensor Tower data.

YouTube Music from Google saw a notable revenue peak of approximately $71.9K in the last week of March, followed by fluctuations that ended with $63.7K in the final week of June. Weekly downloads hovered around 2K, with a slight dip mid-quarter but a recovery to 2.1K by the end. Active users grew steadily from 490.7K at the start to 537.7K by the end of June.

Deezer: Music Player, Podcast by DEEZER SA experienced a revenue peak of $20K in late April and another similar peak at the end of June. Weekly downloads remained consistent, averaging around 750, with a mild increase towards the end of the quarter. Active users saw minor fluctuations, starting at 104.6K and ending the quarter slightly lower at 101.8K.
